Assumption of Risks and Release of Liability
By enrolling in Elevation Wrestling training, you acknowledge that the activities involved, including rolls, bumps, falls, and execution of wrestling moves, carry inherent risks.
In consideration of our coaching services, you release Elevation Wrestling (“the School”) , its Coaches, Support Staff, and Employees from any and all claims arising from your - or your dependant’s - participation in these activities.
It is your responsibility to assess appropriate fitness for participation and obtain medical consent if necessary.
By agreeing to these terms, you waive the right to bring legal action against Elevation Wrestling and its coaches for negligence, except in cases of gross negligence or reckless conduct.
Code of Conduct
Respect and inclusivity are fundamental to the Elevation Wrestling community. Bullying, bad treatment, or the use of derogatory terms towards any fellow students or coaches based on race, sexuality, gender, religion, or any other factor will not be tolerated. Such behaviour will result in immediate expulsion from the school and associated activities.
Elevation wrestling reserve the right to refuse service at their discretion. Including, but not limited to, where an individual’s behaviour may case distress or harm to other trainees, the School or fans. Or where the behaviour of an individual outside of School activities may bring the school’s reputation into disrepute.
Incident Reporting
We have a robust incident reporting system in place to ensure all injuries sustained in the course of training are promptly assessed and treated by trained first aiders and reported in compliance with RIDDOR. This includes detailed documentation and timely submission of any required reports to our local authority (Charnwood Borough Council). All trainers are trained on RIDDOR requirements and the importance of reporting incidents.
General Points for Professional Wrestling Training
Our trainers aim to provide a beneficial session for all participants.
Participants must inform coaches of any injuries/illnesses affecting their performance.
Appropriate clothing and footwear are required for all training.
There is a minimum age of 10 to participate in training.
Where trainees are under the age of 16, parental consent will be required for training.
Consent should be gained from participants and coaches prior to any photography or filming.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during training sessions.
Updates to Terms and Conditions
Elevation Wrestling reserves the right to update these terms and conditions. Participants are responsible for reviewing any changes. Notification of updates will be communicated, and it is the participant's responsibility to stay informed.
